How Much Rest Are You Getting?

Research shows that most people require 7-9 hours of sleep. All around the U.S., adults report that they get more like 5-6 hours of sleep each night. That’s simply not enough! There are a variety of reasons you need ample sleep, which includes recharging your brain and nervous system. This recharging can only take place when you’re sleeping.

There’s another aspect to getting proper rest: your immune function. Without enough sleep, your immune system can’t function at its highest level.

Change Up Your Routine

Not getting enough sleep? To help your immune system, think about making a change, such as

  • Take a supplement or CBD oil to fight insomnia
  • Get to bed a little earlier
  • Make sure your room is dark, quiet and cool
  • Turn off your phone an hour before bed so your brain feels calm by bedtime
